What happens when aging meets the crisis of homelessness? No Place to Grow Old, a moving documentary from Humans for Housing, explores the heartbreaking and urgent reality of seniors facing housing insecurity. Through deeply personal stories, this film shines a spotlight on the struggles of older adults who are left without the stability and dignity of a safe place to call home.

Beyond storytelling, the film offers powerful social commentary on systemic issues affecting vulnerable populations. It challenges viewers to reflect on their role in fostering a society where everyone, especially seniors, has the opportunity to age with security and grace.

Engage in the Conversation
Following the screening, attendees will have the unique opportunity to participate in a Q&A session featuring five local leaders who are actively working to combat housing insecurity:
  • Allison Roberts, Snoqualmie Valley Food Bank: Addressing the intersection of food access and housing stability.
  • Jen Kirk, Reclaim: Advocating for transitional and permanent housing solutions.
  • Susan Kingsbury-Comeau, Mt. Si Senior Center: Supporting seniors through programs and resources that provide community and care.
  • Angelina Holverslott, Local Housing Manager: Navigating the complexities of affordable housing initiatives.
  • Michael Larson, Humans for Housing: Sharing the vision and mission behind the film and its call to action.
