When most people think of Puget Sound Energy, they think about keeping the lights on and the heat running. Here at Mt. Si Senior Center, we also think about the people behind those meters: older adults sharing lunch, neighbors gathering for hand and foot, exercise classes, support groups, and quiet conversations over coffee.

Puget Sound Energy is proud to support senior and community centers like Mt. Si Senior Center, and we’re deeply grateful to be one of the places they’ve chosen to invest in. Their partnership helps us offer what seniors need most: a safe place to belong, affordable meals, wellness programs, and trusted information about resources and support.

Senior centers carry a lot on their shoulders. We’re part social hub, part classroom, part safety net. Seniors are among the most vulnerable members of our community, and many are just one crisis away from losing stable housing. Rising costs for rent, food, and utilities can turn a tight budget into an emergency very quickly.

That’s why PSE’s support matters so much. Their commitment goes beyond energy service. By supporting organizations like Mt. Si Senior Center, they’re helping keep older adults warm, connected, and cared for. Their giving strengthens the same network of community services that helps seniors stay in their homes and in the Snoqualmie Valley they love.

Here at the center, PSE’s sponsorship shows up in simple, powerful ways: a welcoming building, heated gathering spaces in winter, and programs that run because partners like PSE choose to stand beside us and our seniors.

From all of us at Mt. Si Senior Center, thank you, Puget Sound Energy, for believing in seniors, investing in community, and helping make sure no one has to age alone.
