Mt. Si Senior Center's Community Needs Assessment

Mt. Si Senior Center offers a communal space for seniors living in North Bend, Snoqualmie, and surrounding regions, including a variety of programs, classes, and events that engage local seniors, keeping them both personally active and involved in their communities. As the number of seniors living in Mt. Si Senior Center’s service area grows, it is important to better understand the community’s needs and especially those of seniors in the community.

We are working with Community Attributes Inc (CAI) to inventory the services currently provided in the community and identify strategies to meet the needs of older adults and seniors.
As CAI supports Mt. Si Senior Center in the creation of a Community Needs Assessment and Strategic Plan, community engagement and outreach will be an essential component of work. Intentional outreach will allow Mt. Si Senior Center to understand more about the community in its service area, learn about the needs of senior community members, and identify the opportunities and challenges involved with making North Bend and Snoqualmie a great place to live and to age.
