Volunteer Coordinator PT / 20 hrs per wk
Under the supervision of the Program Coordinator, the Volunteer Coordinator will be responsible for connecting seniors and community members with opportunities to volunteer at Mt. Si Senior Center to further our mission. We have over 100 volunteers filling a wide variety of roles including assisting with our daily operations, facility maintenance, landscaping, leading activities and programs, administrative duties, fundraising, marketing, database work and more. The Volunteer Coordinator will provide oversight, leadership, and development in all aspects of the volunteer program including recruitment, interviewing, orientation, training, and evaluating volunteers and managing volunteer award programs and appreciation events.

Receptionist PT / 20 hrs per wk
Under the supervision of the Program Coordinator, the Front Desk Receptionist performs varied front desk duties. The Front Desk Receptionist is responsible for: making the people using the Center feel welcome and ensuring they experience the Center as an organized environment; greeting people and directing them to the correct person, department, or activity; ensure that facility policies and guidelines are followed; help people to check-in to programs via our kiosk; make appointments with specialists; run the register; answer the phone in a timely manner; maintain cleanliness in the front entrance and front desk area; oversee, coordinate and direct volunteer ambassadors; light clerical duties; and report any problems, discrepancies and incidents to the Programs Coordinator or Executive Director.

Engagement Coordinator FT / 40 hrs per wk
Under the supervision of the Executive Director, the Engagement Coordinator will be responsible for connecting seniors and community members with opportunities to participate in activities and events at the Center, volunteer to further our mission, and support the Center by becoming a member. The Engagement Coordinator will manage a volunteer-assisted front desk and orient new clients and guests to optimize opportunities for participation. This individual will also have an active leadership role on the membership and volunteer committees. The Engagement Coordinator will provide oversight and development in all aspects of both the membership and volunteer programs including planning, recruitment, orientation, training, and managing appreciation events.

Facility Attendant (Events/Rentals) PT var. hoursUnder the supervision of the Program Coordinator, the Facility Attendant prepares venues for events such as weddings, private parties, business events, meetings and celebrations of life held at Mt. Si Senior Center. This position is part-time and consists of working on an "as needed" basis with hours and shifts that may vary on any given day of the week and will vary in length, Monday through Sunday. The hours available are based on the hours the venue has been rented by a client.

Fitness Instructor PT var. hours
Under the supervision of the Program Coordinator, the Fitness Instructor is responsible for providing safe, effective, physical fitness classes appropriate for seniors aged 50 and older. This position is part-time and usually consists of working part-time in the morning, Monday -Friday between the hours of 9:00 AM and 12:00 PM with hours and shifts that may vary during that time frame and during the week.
