Here's what Adult Fitness ​looks like at MSSC!

Stay Active For Life: Adult Fitness

 All classes are held at Mt. Si Senior Center. Come try a class for free using the Shape Up discount.  Available to adults age 50 and older.

​Huff & Puff   By Donation​                                                   M, W, F    9:00 AM-9:55 AM   
Huff & Puff focuses participants on maintaining mobility, flexibility and strength. The class uses hand weights, exercise bands, floor mats and chairs.

Functional Fitness    $50/10 Class Punch†                 M, W, F  10:00 AM-10:55 AM   
Functional Fitness helps people reduce their chances of falling through exercises that build strength, flexibility, balance and cardio fitness.

Chair Yoga I, II & III  $50/10 Class Punch                  M, W, F  11:00 AM-11:55 AM   An introduction to yoga’s beneficial poses and mindful practices that improve physical fitness and overall health and vitality. Instruction is tailored to student’s skill level.

River City Ramblers  Free          ​                                      M, W, F   11:00 AM-12:00 PM
Meet up with other people to walk in the afternoons!  Call us for more information.

Seniorcize  By Donation​                                                     M, Th     11:00 AM-11:55 AM 
Seniorcize is a senior strength and conditioning program that is easy on the joints with seated aerobics, balancing and stretching exercises.

Balls, Bands & Bells  $50/10 Class Punch                 Tu, Th     10:00 AM - 10:50 AM
This class focuses on building strength and muscle using different forms of resistance.
Please wear tennis shoes that are designed for exercise.

Line Dancing I & II   $50/10 Class Punch                 Tu, Th      11:00 AM-11:55 AM   
You never need a partner to have a great time dancing with your friends. Plus you get exercise without realizing you are actually working out!

S.A.I.L.  $50/10 Class Punch                                              Tu, Th        9:oo AM-9:55 AM
Stay Active & Independent for Life 
This strength, balance and fitness program is geared toward adults age 65 and older. In class, you will be performing exercises that improve strength, balance and fitness. These are some of the most important activities adults can do to stay active and reduce their chances of falling.

Silver Gloves Boxing   $50/10 Class Punch                         Th     12:30 PM-1:30 PM 
This boxing-inspired circuit training course will improve cardio conditioning, movement and balance. You will also learn boxing basics and expand your skills.
