Work at Mt. Si Senior Center

Mt. Si Senior Center, a non-profit organization, is currently hiring a grant writer.  This is a great local position in Snoqualmie Valley working for an organization that does great things for senior citizens in our community.

Senior Advocate    PT 20-25 hours/wk, schedule neg.

The Senior Advocate educates and provides referrals and services to seniors, empowering them to live independently. The Advocate helps seniors identify, access, and coordinate services provided by community organizations, county, state or federal agencies.  In this position, the Advocate provides information and assistance, helps to arrange services, problem solves, advocates, provides individual counseling, maintains support groups, develops health and wellness workshops and classes, and liaises between the senior and the services needed to successfully age in our community.

Facility Attendant (Events/Rentals)    PT var. hours

Under the supervision of the Program Coordinator, the Facility Attendant prepares venues for events such as weddings, private parties, business events, meetings and celebrations of life held at Mt. Si Senior Center. This position is part-time and consists of working on an "as needed" basis with hours and shifts that may vary on any given day of the week and will vary in length, Monday through Sunday. The hours available are based on the hours the venue has been rented by a client.

We seek multiple facility attendants.

Fitness Instructor                                 PT var. hours

Under the supervision of the Program Coordinator, the Fitness Instructor is responsible for providing safe, effective, physical fitness classes appropriate for seniors aged 50 and older. This position is part-time and usually consists of working part-time in the morning, Monday -Friday between the hours of 9:00 AM and 12:00 PM with hours and shifts that may vary during that time frame and during the week.

We seek multiple fitness instructors.
